The LTPP Database and You

Find out more about how the Long Term Pavement Performance (LTPP) database can work for you at this year's Transportation Research Board annual meeting. "Mining the Gold in the LTPP Database," scheduled for January 13, 2003, will provide an introduction to the LTPP database and the products that have been developed from it, as well as information on how the database can be used in analysis projects and to educate future engineers. For more information on the session, contact Aramis Lopez at FHWA, 202-493-3145 (fax: 202-493-3161; email: aramis.lopez@fhwa.dot.gov).

The LTPP State Coordinators will also meet on January 12 to review the past year's work and to discuss such topics as LTPP product development and delivery, the Materials Data Action Plan, and the Traffic Data Pooled Fund study. For more information, contact Victor Mendez at the Arizona Department of Transportation, 602-712-7227 (fax: 602-712-6941; email: vmendez@dot.state.az.us).
