Comments |
Evaluating Non-infrastructure countermeasures may not be the most efficient use of the resources on this project. My understanding is we are focusing on data and crash analysis to determine infrastructure improvements focusing on the engineering side. The TAC consists of Engineers and as i agree Education, EMS and Enforcement is key, we should keep this project focused on engineering solutions | Proposed strategy: Cell phone safety research (Score 5) | Strategy #6.1 D1 is tried in Minnesota with no success to date | This topic is a big deal for Utah | Shoulder and/or centerline rumble strips are done | |||||||||||||||||||||||||

Types of Strategies:
Note: Tried (T) - Those strategies that have been implemented in a number of locations and that may even be accepted as standards or standard approaches, but for which there have not been found valid evaluations….
Note: Experimental (E) - Those strategies that have been suggested and that at least one agency has considered sufficiently promising to try on a small scale in at least one location……
Note: Proven (P) - Those strategies that have been used in one or more locations and for which properly designed evaluations have been conducted that show it to be effective….
